1. Why should I hire you as my travel agent?

  I have a relationship with the hotel, cruise line or tour and excursion companies. If there is a cancellation I will handle getting you another flight or rescheduling the trip if it gets cancelled. I am always learning and completing training to obtain my  certifications in a variety of destinations, theme parks and cruise lines. I have my own travel experience and can recommend the best places for your interests. I  assist you with making your vacation stress free because I do the planning for you.

2.  How do I book a trip?

   You can book a trip by calling or texting us at 469-608-9828. You can also complete our travel inquiry form on our website  or email us at contact@victoriasgetaways.com and we will contact you once it’s completed. 


3. What information do I need to provide when booking?

   You'll need to provide your full name, contact information including address, passport details (if traveling internationally), ages of all the travelers and any special requests or requirements you may have (wheelchair, scooter, stroller, crib etc..).


4. Do I need a passport to book a trip?

   It depends on your destination. For international travel, a passport is typically required. Make sure to check the passport and visa requirements for your specific destination well in advance of your trip. It is required that your passport be valid for 6 months after your trip. If it will expire then renew as soon as possible.


5. Do you offer travel insurance?

Yes we can get you travel insurance. We will ask you for the information needed for the quote. You can choose the coverage you would like. It’ is recommended to have travel insurance in case the flight gets cancelled or your trip gets cancelled you won’t loose your money.


6. What is travel insurance and do I need it?

   Travel insurance provides coverage for unexpected events such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and more. While it's not always required, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself and your investment in case of unforeseen circumstances.


7. Where does my deposit go when booking a trip?

   Your deposit is used to secure your reservation with airlines, hotels, and other service providers. It helps cover the initial costs associated with your trip and is typically non-refundable in order to secure your booking. If you add travel insurance or travel protection then it will be refunded. 


8. How much is your service fee?

  You pay a service fee of $50 per adult $25 per child ages 4-14 free for 3 and under. Flight only bookin will be based on domestic or international and if it is one city or multi destinations. Prices vary.  It is non-refundable  Pay with credit card or debit card, cash app or PayPal


9. What is the service fee and is it refundable?

   The service fee covers the administrative costs associated with processing your reservation. It is non-refundable, as it covers the time and effort spent on researching and arranging your trip, regardless of whether the trip is ultimately taken or not.


10. Can I make changes to my booking after it's been confirmed?

   Yes, you can usually make changes to your booking, but it may be subject to additional fees or penalties depending on the specific terms and conditions of your reservation. We recommend contacting us by phone or text message for faster replyas soon as possible if you need to make any changes to your booking.


11. What happens if I need to cancel my trip?

   If you need to cancel your trip, please refer to the cancellation policy outlined in your booking confirmation. Depending on when you cancel and the terms of your reservation, you may be eligible for a partial refund, or you may forfeit your deposit and any additional payments made towards the trip. If you purchased travel insurance then you would file a claim. If you have travel protection then you will get a credit in that amount to use on another trip unless your plan includes the cash option. 


12. How far in advance should I book my trip?

  For the best rates and availability, we recommend planning your trip 6 months to a year in advance, especially for popular destinations or during peak travel seasons. However, last-minute deals may also be available, so it's worth checking with us for availability closer to your desired travel dates. We have deals not accessed by the public. 


13. What if I have a problem during my trip?

    If you encounter any issues during your trip, such as flight delays, lost luggage, or hotel problems, please contact us as soon as possible. 469-608-9828 We're here to assist you 24/7 and will do our best to resolve any problems and ensure you have a smooth travel experience. We will handle any problems so that you can relax. We appreciate your business. 

 14. How do I book a cruise?

   You can book a cruise by calling or texting us at 469-608-9828, or email us contqct@victoriasgetaways.com. We will help you choose the perfect cruise itinerary and cabin accommodations based on your preferences and budget.


15. What information do I need to provide when booking a cruise?

   You'll need to provide the names of all passengers as they appear on their passports, contact information, preferred cabin type (e.g., interior, oceanview, balcony, suite), and any special requests or requirements you may have.


16. Do I need a passport to go on a cruise?

   It depends on your cruise itinerary. For cruises that embark and disembark from the same U.S. port and visit select destinations, a government-issued photo ID and birth certificate may be sufficient. However, for international cruises or those that visit foreign ports, a passport is typically required. We recommend checking the specific passport and visa requirements for your cruise itinerary well in advance of your departure date.


17. What is included in the price of the cruise?

   The price of your cruise typically includes your accommodations onboard, meals at the main dining venues, access to onboard entertainment and amenities (such as pools, fitness centers, mini golf, water slides and theaters), and most onboard activities and events. Additional expenses may include gratuities, specialty dining, shore excursions, alcoholic beverages, spa treatments, and souvenirs. We do recommend paying gratuities which goes to the staff during your cruise.


18. Is travel insurance necessary for a cruise?

   While travel insurance is not mandatory for a cruise, we strongly recommend purchasing it to protect your investment in case of unforeseen events such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost luggage, or itinerary changes. Travel insurance can provide coverage and assistance during your cruise vacation, giving you peace of mind while traveling.


19. Can I choose my dining time and tablemates on a cruise?

   Many cruise lines offer both traditional dining with assigned seating times and flexible dining options where you can dine at any time during specified hours. You can typically request your dining preferences when booking your cruise, and the cruise line will do their best to accommodate your requests. Some cruise lines also offer specialty dining options for an additional fee.


20. What happens if there's bad weather during my cruise?

   Cruise ships are equipped to navigate through various weather conditions safely. However, if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances affect the itinerary, the cruise line may modify the schedule or itinerary to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers. In rare cases where a port is inaccessible, the cruise line will typically provide alternative arrangements or compensation.


21. Are there age restrictions or special accommodations for children on cruises?

   Most cruise lines welcome children of all ages and offer dedicated youth programs and facilities for kids and teens. Virgin Voyages is for adults 18 and up. Some cruise lines also provide special accommodations for infants, toddlers, and children with special needs. There are kids clubs on the ships and seperated according to the childs age. Kids under 3 should have a parent present in those areas.  However, certain adult-oriented amenities or activities may have age restrictions or require parental supervision.


22. What is the cancellation policy for cruises?

   The cancellation policy varies depending on the cruise line, itinerary, and time of cancellation. Typically, cancellations made within a certain time frame before the departure date may incur penalties or forfeiture of the deposit. We advise reviewing the specific cancellation policy for your cruise at the time of booking and considering travel insurance for added protection. Travel insurance will include your flight and hotel because it covers the cost of the trip total. Highly recommend you get travel insurance. 


23. How can I stay connected with family and friends while onboard?

    Most cruise ships offer internet access and onboard communication services such as Wi-Fi, cellular at sea, and satellite phone services for an additional fee. Some cruise lines also offer social media packages or discounted internet plans for staying connected with loved ones during your cruise vacation.
